Maurice Houlden has been writing incidental music for the Chameleon Players productions since 1991. During his musical career he has played bass guitar and keyboards in several Hull bands playing in various musical styles in Hull and throughout the country. He also has numerous keyboard recording sessions under his belt. In 1999 he released his first CD 'Messenger of Light' which was followed by 'Chameleon Chronicles Vol 1' (2000), a selection of his Chameleon music from 'House Of Frankenstein', 'Murder By The Book, 'Aurelia' and 'House Of Dracula'. His other releases are 'Awaken' (2003), 'Mother Earth Father Sky' (2003), 'The Wildcat Warrior' (2003) - which even has it's own website! - and 'I Still Remember' (2006). He has also released five more volumes in the ongoing series of 'Chameleon Chronicles' (2004-2007) containing music from a further thirty four(!) Chameleon productions!

"This is the first album I've done with me taking lead vocals. There's not one instrumental, although all the songs were still penned by myself over a two year period. Most were influenced by my trips to the USA; there's a hint of country and western music on one track even though I never listened to any while I was in Nashville itself. Other tracks were written in Cherokee, North Carolina and Washington D.C. and then finished off over here at home.
