Don't
Mention The War Above is an extravagantly
posed action shot from Boris' hopeless production
of Murder At Priorswell Manor. Joanne playing Ginette playing the dim Virginia Cholmondley
watches David playing Harrison playing the greasy,
dreadfully accented Mr Papadopoulos taunt Neal
playing Tim playing stiff upper lipped Major
Rodney Pirbright about his experiences during the First World War.
This led to Neal going into a gloriously over the
top, tour de force shellshock routine -
trembling and twitching, dropping on one knee and
firing an imaginary machine gun and lobbing
imaginary grenades - before pulling out his
pistol and attempting suicide! But his bullet
goes astray and smashes a vase. Or it would have
if the pistol hadn't consistently misfired every
night! Ray had the same problem in Hound Of The Baskervilles, practically having to club the
hound to death with the butt! |

Murder
In the Title The third play in a
row with "Murder" in the title. The Haltemprice
Herald used to claim that we majored in
thrillers and that was in 1990 after we’d only done
two! So heaven knows what they would have made of our "Murder" season. It wasn’t planned that way,
really. And we've only done one other play with "Murder"
in the title since! |

Was
I In That One? Yippee! We finally got Mandy
up before an audience. Even if she spent half the play in a
cupboard. But Mark left to pursue his college studies. |
